Manchester United are on the verge of wrapping up the signings of goalkeeper Karl Darlow and midfielder Andrey Santos , Meanwhile, Ederson is undergoing an extensive medical examination before finalising his own transfer from Atalanta .
Darlow is poised to arrive on a free transfer following his departure from Leeds United when his contract expired last month. The 35-year-old will serve as backup to Senne Lammens, with three goalkeepers leaving Old Trafford this summer.

While Darlow and Santos could complete their transfers as soon as Friday, there is also an update regarding Ederson, with United opting to carry out a more thorough medical evaluation of the midfielder.
