Some massive names have entered the final season of their club contracts, opening up the prospect of free agent

transfers

next summer.

From Ballon d'Or winners, to current contenders for the award, and

Premier League

record-breakers, we've looked at four huge names whose deals expire in 2027.

Vinicius Junior

's contract at

Real Madrid

expires next summer with tentative suggestions that the winger could leave in the current window.

The Brazilian has been linked with Saudi Arabia and the

, though has insisted he does not want to leave

.

The 25-year-old has scored 128 goals in 378 games for the Spanish side and has been a key part of the club's modern success, featuring in three title-winning teams and twice scoring in successful Champions League finals.

Despite now sharing the spotlight with Kylian Mbappe, he has said he wants to conclude his career in the Spanish capital.

“I enjoy every moment, I want to continue playing here my whole life, but I am also not in a rush to renew my contract," he said in May.

“We have an agreement until 2027, so until then we have a lot to talk about with

, and

with us."

Harry Kane

faces a big decision on his future as the end of his

Bayern Munich

deal approaches. Kane has enjoyed an extraordinary spell in Germany, where he's scored 146 goals in 147 games and won two Bundesliga titles and the DFB-Pokal.

He's twice claimed the

European Golden Shoe

in the process, with the German giants labelling Kane as one of their greatest ever investments.

However, Kane will turn 33 this summer and faces a massive decision on what's next. He is understood to be happy in Germany, with

Bayern

preparing another challenge for the Champions League next season, but the lure of

immortality will be strong.

Kane is only 42 goals behind Alan Shearer's all-time goal record and could opt to return in 2027 with that record in mind.

At this stage,

Rodri

has shown no sign that he is willing to extend his deal at

Manchester City

, which is due to expire next summer.

The 30-year-old has talked up a potential return to La Liga in recent months, with

reportedly among his suitors. It's a transfer that interests the 2024 Ballon d'Or winner.

Bruno Fernandes

broke the Premier League's assist record in 2025/26, creating 21 goals as

Manchester United

secured Champions League qualification. It was a phenomenal campaign from the Portuguese playmaker, who has excelled even amid much mediocrity in Manchester in recent years.

United, however, face a decision on his future. Fernandes will turn 32 in September, and a lucrative long-term deal represents risk.

For Fernandes, there's a dilemma too. Time is running out to secure the silverware that has eluded him in his career to date, having remained loyal to

in tough times. Are the Red Devils ready to challenge for the big prizes?
