Reports: Swingman Kevin Huerter plans to re-sign with Pistons

Kevin Huerter has reportedly agreed to re-sign with the Pistons.

Swingman Kevin Huerter is staying in Detroit.

ESPN’s Shams Charania

reported Monday afternoon

that Huerter plans to sign a three-year deal for $27 million with Detroit. Reporters from The Athletic also reported the Huerter signing.

Huerter, the No. 19 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, has played for four teams in his eight-year career.

He’s averaged 11.4 points per game on 43.1 percent shooting for his career.

Huerter was acquired

by the Pistons from Chicago at last year’s trade deadline, and he averaged 8.6 points per game on 44.3 percent shooting in 25 games with the Bulls.
