The deal reportedly includes a mutual option, which allows either side to opt in to the deal next season, or to negotiate a new contract.

The 28-year-old big man from Germany averaged 6.9 points and 3.2 rebounds over 36 games with the Magic last season. He was selected with the 25th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and played for the Lakers, Wizards and Celtics before spending the past five seasons with Orlando.
