Salah's breakthrough came in 2017, when Jurgen Klopp's Reds snapped him up from Roma in a £34.3million deal. The rest is history where his goal-scoring is concerned, but his first-ever Anfield deal only saw him earn an estimated £90,000 per week.

One year and 44 goals later, he penned a new five-year contract, doubling his salary. In 2022, he signed a record-breaking three-year extension that reportedly saw him earn over £350,000 per week. His final contract, signed in 2025, was cut short this summer to enable his farewell.
