ChatGPT has offered

Leeds United

a measure of encouragement in its predicted 2026-27

Premier League

table and points, while hinting at a relegation shock. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the projection arrives as Leeds prepare for their second campaign back in the top flight.

Leeds and Sunderland defied the usual fate of promoted clubs in 2025-26. Leeds finished 14th, eight points clear of danger, while Sunderland claimed seventh and a Europa League spot.

Burnley were the only promoted side to drop straight back, relegated with rock-bottom Wolves and West Ham, whose fate was sealed on the final day as fourth-bottom Tottenham survived. Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City are the new arrivals. Chairman Paraag Marathe has already warned how tough a second season can be.

Leeds also ended above Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, and were only two points shy of Everton and Newcastle United.

ChatGPT places Arsenal first on 88 points, viewing them as title holders and slight favourites. Manchester City are second on 85, Manchester United third on 80 and Chelsea fourth on 76. Liverpool are fifth on 73 and Newcastle United sixth on 69, with City, United and Liverpool all considered capable of challenging.
