After reports emerged on Thursday that FC

Barcelona

have agreed personal terms with

Karim Adeyemi

, the Catalan giants have reportedly submitted an opening offer for the

Borussia Dortmund

forward.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona’s first bid of €20 million was rejected by the Black and Yellows.

With Adeyemi's contract expiring next year, Dortmund are not in the strongest negotiating position and are unlikely to secure the €40 million fee that was previously touted.

Spanish media reports suggest that the two clubs could eventually meet somewhere in the middle, with a fee of around €30 million being a possible compromise.

There has also been speculation that

players, including Roony Bardghji (20, winger), Marc Casadó (22, central midfielder) and Héctor Fort (19, full-back), could be included as part of the deal.
