Arsenal have extended their remarkable
World Cup
record, with
Leandro Trossard
becoming the sixth different Gunner to provide an assist at the 2026 tournament.
According to Opta, no club has featured more assist providers in North America. Trossard reached the milestone during Belgium’s round-of-32 tie against Senegal.
The winger, who had already scored twice in the group stage, turned creator to add his name to a growing list. It underlined his value to Rudi Garcia’s side beyond his own finishing.
The full roll call is impressive. Martin Odegaard leads the way with three assists, followed by Viktor Gyokeres and Bukayo Saka on two apiece.
Gabriel, Declan Rice and now Trossard have each contributed one. The tally sets a fresh club benchmark.

By the club’s own account, it surpasses their previous best of four different assist providers at a single
, set at France 1998 through Marc Overmars, Emmanuel Petit, Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp.
Fifteen
Arsenal
players travelled to the tournament across nine nations, the most of any Premier League club. Their influence has been felt in nearly every corner of the competition.
The Gunners have thrived at both ends of the pitch, too. Alongside the assists, several players have found the net, matching the club’s record for different goal scorers at a single finals.
With a number of
players still involved in the knockout rounds, the record may yet be extended further before the tournament reaches its conclusion in New Jersey on 19 July.
